Hacksaw Entertainment presents The New Deal at The Independent on Friday 24th July.

Nothing to do with Roosevelt, The New Deal are one of the pioneers of the live electronic music movement. So much so they even have their own term for it - livetronica. Expect to see keys, drums and bass all played live, in the style of a breakbeat/trip-hop act. It sounds like a truly organic DJ set, except you can see every beat being laid down by the drummer.

DJ Morale will be warming up the crowd from 9pm - he’s played with everyone from STS9 to MSTRKRFT, so if you know what’s what you’ll be there earlier to catch what is sure to be a superb set.
